Precast Concrete Strikes a Solemn Chord of Appreciation

Veterans Honor Park, a site to honor the U.S. Armed Forces and its military families, is a strikingly beautiful destination of remembrance and solitude for its visitors. Designed by Powers Bowersox Associates, the park is anchored by a stunning, star-shaped black granite fountain. Surrounding the fountain is a series of custom precast concrete works by Wausau Tile, including engraved signs and subtly underlit benches, along with custom water-jet cut pavers at the fountain. The site’s daring, clean aesthetic is befitting of the great men and women for whom it was built.
