Our Lok-Down mechanism is designed to help create a safe roof top space in areas where high-wind conditions exist. With the use of architectural pavers, the mechanism locks the pavers together to create a rafting effect. The Lok-Down is made from plastic and can be used in conjunction with our Terra-Stand pedestal or Waffle Reducer. Several colors are available to help match the Lok-Down to pavers.
The use of the Lok-Down is optional with the Roof Deck Pedestal System.
Pavers installed using a pedestal system are designed for pedestrian traffic only.
